CSF 2023 Program
Overview Coming soon

The Canadian Surgery Forum (CSF) is pleased to announce that the city of Vancouver has been selected
to host their 2023 Forum, which will take place from September 21-23, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency
Vancouver and the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The event was last held in Vancouver in 2014 and was
scheduled to return in 2020 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are excited to work with the Vancouver local arrangements committee to bring back the Canadian
Surgery Forum to Vancouver,” said Dr. Mark Walsh, President of the Canadian Association of General
Surgeons. “Rich in medical innovation including in rural surgery, leaders in sustainability and home to
the second largest delegate base of CSF delegates, Vancouver is a natural fit to host the annual
conference.”

“We are very proud to once again be hosting the Canadian Surgery Forum in Vancouver,” said Royce
Chwin, President and CEO, Tourism Vancouver. “We appreciate CSF bringing their delegates back to our city, which speaks to the draw of Vancouver as a premiere meeting destination and the excellent reputation of the local medical community.
Groups like the Canadian Surgery Forum who are committed to hosting in-person meetings when it is safe to do so, support the rebuild of our visitor economy. We look forward to welcoming their delegates to our inspiring, diverse and naturally beautiful destination in 2023.”
