The Canadian Hernia Society (CHS) is recruiting cases for the second annual “Resident Hernia Case Presentation” for the Canadian Surgery Forum 2022 Toronto.

This year the CHS is looking for hernia emergency related cases. How did you manage that midnight consult for an incarcerated or strangulated hernia? Was there a debate to reduce it or not? Did you take the patient immediately to the OR? Did you consider using a mesh? Tell us about your approach!

Four cases will be selected for presentation at this year’s Canadian Surgery Forum, Toronto, ON, September 15-17, 2022. Residents and staff are encouraged to partner up for submission. The case presentations will be delivered by the resident.
